Shoreline cleanup at Anse Brown

On September 14, some thirty employees of the Port of Québec and the Monastère des Augustines took part in a shoreline cleanup of the banks of the St. Lawrence River in the Anse Brown sector, on Port territory. In partnership with Stratégies Saint-Laurent and Mission 1000 tonnes, 862 pounds of waste were collected, including plastic waste. Committed for several years to the Défi Saint-Laurent program, which aims to reduce the consumption of plastic products, the Port of Québec carries out several shoreline cleanup operations each year. Since 2017, seven clean-up operations have been carried out in the aquatic environment on the port territory.
