Under the supervision of maintenance supervisors, the plumber must have the knowledge and skills required to perform various plumbing tasks. Additionally, they must carry out different manual tasks in various fields for the maintenance of port infrastructure and equipment, buildings, municipal and civil networks.

Responsabilities

  • Read and interpret plans and specifications and diagnose issues;
  • Be able to install, repair, and maintain sewer and septic tank systems;
  • Follow up on completed work;
  • Work on all alarm and protection devices such as: automatic sprinkler systems, whether dry or wet, portable extinguishers or automatic extinguisher systems, pumping systems, and burner systems;
  • Complete the work by tidying up and cleaning the area and recording data;
  • Maintain and repair water supply networks and components (stormwater and sanitary);
  • Repair fire hydrants in the area;
  • Have the manual skills to perform various general tasks in different areas of the maintenance service.

Daily

  • Install, repair, maintain, modify, or redo plumbing and heating systems;
  • Plan the various tasks to be performed.

Qualifications

Formations

Possess a DEP in plumbing as well as a competency certificate with the mention of journeyman (Plumber) or equivalent (a skills test may be required).

Experience

Have at least four to five years of relevant experience in the field.
