Reporting to the Director, Information Technologies and Telecommunications, the incumbent is primarily responsible for maintaining and developing applications using the Oracle database and Forms / Reports tools.

Responsabilities

  • Meet with users to define requirements;
  • Perform preliminary and functional analysis based on identified needs;
  • Carry out technical implementation (implementation plan, programming, testing, implementation, etc.);
  • Integrate developed applications with existing systems, if necessary;
  • Document developed systems;
  • Prepare and deliver user training on applications put into production;
  • Maintain existing programs;
  • Convert Forms applications to Apex as required;
  • Support users;
  • Perform any other related tasks.

 

Note that the proportion of analysis is around 35% and the proportion of programming is around 65%.  However, these percentages may change according to the needs of the organization.

  • Work as part of a small multidisciplinary team;
  • Participate in the digital transformation project;
  • Manage concrete data and bring it to life;
  • Put into practice all the expertise acquired through training in computer science and telecommunications.

Qualifications

Formations

College degree in computer science or information technology or equivalent.

Experience

Minimum 2 years' experience with Oracle Forms and Reports tools.
