On February 5, the traditional ice canoe race of the Québec Winter Carnival took place. On the icy waters of the St. Lawrence River, dozens of teams competed in the crossing of the river. A crowd of spectators were present at the wharves 19 and 21 of the Port of Québec to watch this endurance event. Our Communications and Community relations team was on hand to offer free hot chocolate to the spectators and warm their hearts! A film crew was on site to capture spectacular images of the race.
