Each year, the Port of Québec gets involved with a Québec City organization for its Christmas campaign. In 2022, we chose to partner with the Réno-Jouets Foundation, an organization that restores toys, repairs them, puts them back into circulation at affordable prices or donates them to families in need.
We first organized a toy drive by calling on all our employees to collect toys that their children no longer used. Then, our CEO and about 15 Port employees brought the toys to the organization and spent the morning there to help the Reno-Jouets team. A tour of the toy warehouse, a visit of the store, and a toy clean-up were on the agenda for our employees, who frankly appreciated being able to contribute to putting a little happiness into children’s Christmas.
